Effective 1 August 2019, changes were implemented to
BICSI's Continuing Education Credit (CEC) Policy. Guided by
standards for continuing education and training, best practices
and accreditation methodologies, the BICSI CEC Policy facilitates
consistent application, assignment and award of BICSI ICT CECs
and enables you to maximize your training resources to expand
your knowledge base while maintaining current credentials. As
an example, a BICSI Installer or Technician attending the upcom-
ing BICSI Fall Conference in Las Vegas will receive 15 CECs instead
of five (Installer) and six (Technician). You can view the updated
policy in its entirety here or at bicsi.org/cec. You can also review
highlights of major additions/changes here. Feel free to email
any questions to credentialing@bicsi.org.

to education and advancing your knowledge of ever-changing
technologies, regulations, standards, codes and best practices
within the ICT profession. You don't have to wait until it's time for
you to recertify to submit your continuing education credits. We
encourage you to submit them as you earn them.
You can log in to your BICSI profile anytime at bicsi.org/login
to submit your CECs. Remember to submit proof of attendance.
Submissions are processed in the order they are
received and can take up to 30 business days.
