Q: What one holiday family tradition would you pass on from generation to generation? A: Every Christmas Eve, my family makes homemade hot chocolate and reads "e Night Before Christmas." is is my favorite tradition that we do, and I want to pass this on to future generations. Q: What piece of advice would you give Santa for beating holiday stress? A: I would tell Santa to start prepping early to make sure that he has more time to spend with his loved ones. Q: What do you do for fun? A: I like to call myself a casual runner: I'm not fast, but it's fun to me. If you ask anyone who knows me, they will tell you if I have any downtime, it will be spent watching "e Office." BUSINESS DE VELOPMENT OFFICERS: North AL and Fayetteville, TN T. LeJuan George lgeorge@redfcu.org Kasie Barber kbarber@redfcu.org Murfreesboro, TN Lori Cutler lcutler@redfcu.org Lindsay James grew up in a home steeped in Christmas traditions and festive memories that she cherishes more and more as she gets older. At 23, she is busy working on a master's degree in biological sciences at Auburn University but looks forward to slowing down long enough to catch up with family and friends at her family's annual Christmas party in Huntsville – a 16-year tradition. Q: What is your best Christmas memory? A: My favorite Christmas memory isn't just one memory. Every year, my mom, Sandra, hosts this giant Christmas party at our house. It's always so much fun to reconnect with everyone who is there. I also enjoy the quiet time after the party, when my family just sits and talks about our favorite parts of the party. r e d f c u.o r g | 15 M E M B E R S H I P Member's Moment : CLARIFICATION In the summer 2019 issue of Aspire, there was some language that might have created confusion concerning Social Security benefits. Using a hypothetical example from the Social Security website, the "105% more" listed is a total percentage of a recipient's benefits, not in addition to a recipient's benefits. For more information on Social Security benefit percentage calculations, please visit ssa.gov. If you would like to appear in the Member's Moment column, just send your name and an interesting tidbit about yourself to aspire@redfcu.org.
