MO: What's going on Justin?
How was training camp? How's
preseason?
JJ: It's going well. I mean camp's
pretty much over. We've got a
game Thursday and then we get
started. Things are going pretty
well so far.
MO: How is preparing for year
two different than year one?
JJ: I think you just have your
feet under you a little more.
And you know what to expect so
there's a little less anxiety, more
confidence and you're just more
comfortable. You actually have an
offseason as opposed to training
the whole time for the combine
and what not, so it's a lot better
the second time around.
MO: People talk about how in
college, the jump between first-
year to sophomore might be
the biggest one. Do you think
that's true in the NFL between
your first and second season?
JJ: Yeah, I think in most cases
even bigger honestly. Everything
is just intensified. Basically just
take everything that happened
in high school and college and
exponentially increase it. That's
pretty much what the NFL is.
Some guys come in right away
and they've just got it, but most
guys kind of need that transition
year to just become more
comfortable and physically get
used to the game. That was my
take on it, at least.
