Children learn to score and prevent goals. Physical endurance and fi tness is emphasized while touching the ball. At this age the focus starts to change from simple games to organized, tactical, competitive games. Players should bring their own gloves, and be ready for a fun, fast paced learning environment. The specifi c technique training involves strength and placement shooting, landing on shooting foot, precision passing, settling the ball with various body parts, and other off ensive and defensive skills. Most importantly, players are taught game concepts that will improve their decision-making. Players will develop their shot using proper mechanics to be eff ective further from the basket.
