New tables, booths, flooring, paint, and corrugated metal booth dividers provide a modern yet comfortable atmosphere. "Tracy's strives to make comfort food from scratch along with new appetizing menu items, such as our creative waffle selection," says owner John Barnes. "Our goal is to re-establish downtown Great Falls as a place where you can get a great diner meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner." Barnes, wife Becki, and co-owners Neal and Melissa DuBois "are like minded in the type of business we want to run," he says, adding that "contributing to the revitalization of downtown Great Falls" is important as well. Barnes brings a lifetime of restaurant experience to Tracy's. "My family owned and operated the Prospector for many years in this community and I want to build on this tradition. e opportunity to own and operate Tracy's came at a perfect time." Tracy's has been a Great Falls tradition for over 50 years. Weekly specials include half-price milkshakes on ursdays and $2 off all burgers on Tuesdays. The diner is open daily, 7 a.m. until 9 p.m., and Sundays until 2. Waffles topped with fried chicken or chicken strips are part of Tracy's breakfast menu, served all day.
