RETAILOBSERVER.COM JANUARY 2020 10 All two-day immersions are led by the industry's best sales and training experts to ensure guests experience the full True to Food philosophy—the idea that kitchen innovation is only truly worthwhile when it enhances the culinary experience. The festivities kickoff with an expert sous vide cooking demo and night of sous vide cooking, to drive home both the supreme versatility of the unique cooking technique and the Pro Range allowing home chefs to master it. From there, guests are treated to a personalized schedule of demos and cooking sessions with Signature Kitchen Suite ranges, rangetops, ovens, refrigeration units and dishwashers that match their specific needs and interests and those of their clients. "Our True to Food brand immersions take their cue from the dozens, even hundreds, of highly personalized ways that Signature Kitchen Suite devotees cook in their kitchens – from traditional baking, cooking and roasting to convection, induction, steam cooking and sous vide – and of course it all starts with preserving the food and wine in the best possible way" said Barry Bredvik. "Since every EDC visit is designed to help our luxury appliance decision-makers meet the now very tangible needs of their clients, every visit is unique and totally immersive." Of course this being Napa, the culinary and wine-pairing experience also takes center stage – but Signature Kitchen Suite ensures that even this remains personal. Working with ingredients grown throughout the surrounding area's fertile fields, the EDC's Executive Chef Nick Ritchie customizes tasting and pairing menus that showcase the very best of Signature Kitchen Suite products and applications – sous vide and beyond. The EDC's working partnerships with a handful of award-winning local wineries and produce farms, signed by Elkin himself, ensure the ultimate culinary-based product experience. A DESIGN (AND DESIGNER) FIRST MENTALITY First-year guests range from American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) board members and National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) "Thirty Under 30" and "Forty Under 40" honorees to Modenus DesignHounds and Luxe Magazine's RED Award winners. A key group of guests to come through the EDC includes the Signature Kitchen Suite Design Council. This special advisory committee features a dozen of the world's most-seasoned kitchen designers who advise product developers on the latest product designs and features while keeping brand stewards firmly grounded in the ever-changing American luxury home trends. A literal Who's Who in luxury kitchen design, the inaugural council includes some of North America's most accomplished home, kitchen and bath designers, design studio owners, interior designers and kitchen- tech experts. Beyond laying the design groundwork for appliances themselves, the men and women of the Signature Kitchen Suite Design Council contribute to the continual evolution and understanding of how to best leverage the EDC to the benefit of the builder and design community. "Since all of us on the council are foodies and chefs at heart, Signature Kitchen Suite's fusion of design, technology and culinary passion holds a very special appeal," said Nadia Subaran, co-founder and co-owner of Aidan Design and a council member. Beyond the Design Council, Signature Kitchen Suite offers programs specifi- cally for designers to continue to forge deeper relationships within the design community. The True Partner Rewards ™ Program, allows designers to earn rewards and take advantage of personal- use discounts, product sneak peeks and exclusive promotions and events – including, of course, True to Food immersions at the EDC. In the inaugural True Design Challenge, participating designers can win more than $100,000 in prizes with 15 finalists receiving a trip for two to Napa for a Signature Kitchen Suite-themed Awards Gala at the EDC and inspiration visits to local wineries and locations such as the Culinary Institute of America's (CIA) COPIA. AN EQUAL COMMITMENT TO DEALERS Of course, no alliance with builders, designers or other critical influencer groups can thrive without a strong dealer foundation – and Signature Kitchen Suite remains absolutely committed to leading the industry in empowering dealers with the resources, knowledge and incentives they need to become the ultimate ambassadors. Similar to the Design Council, the Signature Kitchen Suite Dealer Council represents an impressive cross- section of dealers across the U.S. with deep roots in luxury appliance customer trends, needs and expectations. By leveraging more than 700 years of collective indus- try experience within its ranks, Signature Kitchen Suite FROM NAPA WITH LOVE
