The National Rocketry Competition (NRC) is how YOU can get involved in the excitement
of NAR competition! The NRC is individuals and teams of two or more, competing in six
simple, but challenging events. And what makes the NRC cool is you fly the events locally,
but you get to see in real time how you perform against members of a similar age, from
across the country, using an online Scoreboard.
Flying the NRC is as easy as 1...2...3!

1. Create your own NRC launch or find one
near you. Go to the NAR homepage and select from the
left-hand menu - Contest Flying > Register an NAR Launch and
register your NRC launch. Or select - Contest Flying >
Find a Contest > NRC Launch to find the NRC launch closest to you.
2. Fly NRC Events at your launch or at one
near you. An NRC launch may be held with as few as two
NAR members provided one member is 18 years of age or older.
Fly the NRC launch you registered in Step 1 or attend and fly
at an NRC launch you found using "Find a Contest."
3. Post your results on the National
Scoreboard! Posting your results is easy and you get to see
how your scores compare to everyone else in your competition di-
vision, nationwide, in real time. No waiting! And if you score well,
you may qualify for national awards! The NRC is simple, fun, yet
challenging competition meant for all NAR members. Rules can
be found on Page 10 of the U.S. Model Rocket Sporting Code at
