COMPRESSOR
LUBRICANT
e new Planetelf PAG
K40 from Total is a
polyalkylene-glycol
(PAG) lubricant for car
air-conditioning compres-
sors. It is designed to meet
the requirements of both
refrigerant gases (R134a and
HFO-1234yf ) commonly
present in the automotive
air-conditioning industry
while providing optimized
performance regardless of
temperature. Along with
thermal and chemical stability
and anti-foaming properties,
the synthetic lubricant is
intended to help protect
compressor parts and seals
against wear and maintain
its lubricity despite a drop in
viscosity caused by the mixing
of refrigerant in the oil.

BEARING
GREASE
Klüber's new
Klübersynth BZ
68-400 cleaning
grease is specifically formu-
lated to remove residue
and optimize bearing
grease changeovers in
wind turbine applications.
Besides its cleaning effects,
the grease offers protection
against wear and corrosion.
is also protects the
rolling bearings during the
cleaning process. In addi-
tion, the grease is designed
to extend the service lives of
rolling bearings and reduce
maintenance and down-
time. Although primarily
developed for applications
in wind turbines, Klüber-
synth BZ 68-400 can also
be used for cleaning rolling
bearings in other industries
as well.

FUEL SYSTEM
CLEANER
e new All Engine
Clean Intake Cleaner
from Valvoline is engi-
neered to remove hard-to-reach
deposits in port fuel-injected
engines and to attack carbon
buildup in modern engines,
including those with gasoline
direct injection (GDI). e
intake cleaning process
circulates a mist into the air
stream to prevent puddling
and diminish engine deposits
while producing low smoke
and low odor. Not sourced
directly from petroleum-based
products and containing no
known carcinogens, the intake
cleaner is also lower in toxicity
for the technician, the engine
and the environment.

SYNTHETIC
FLUSHING FLUID
Ultrachem's new
Omniflush FG is a
synthetic flushing fluid
designed to remove varnish and
sludge from compressors used in
food, beverage and pharmaceu-
tical processing plants. It can be
employed as an intermediary step
when transitioning from standard
(H-2) lubricants to food-grade
(H-1) approved technologies, as
well as when converting from
food-grade (H-1) lubricants
to advanced synthetics. e
fluid offers a high flash point
with good demulsibility and
incorporates additives so it can
be used as a lubricant for up to
500 hours. However, it does not
contain any aromatic solvents or
hazardous ingredients.
