SMEG SHOWCASING AT KITCHEN AND BATH INDUSTRY SHOW Italian appliance manufacturer revealed advances in all its range collections: Dolce&Gabbana collection, innovative C-Series Range updates and Portofino line expansions SMEG, a leading appliance manufacturer known for its Italian heritage, classic style and advanced technology, introduced several new products and collection updates at this year's Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). For the first time, the Dolce&Gabbana x SMEG Majolica range, hood and FAB28 Refrigerator were introduced to the U.S. market. The stunning Majolica print features intricate images of Mount Etna and Grecian ruins from the Valley of the Temples. Additionally, SMEG debuted innovative updates to their line of C-Series Ranges, including an EverClean enamel cooktop surface and oven cavity, a new burner configuration featuring a powerful 18,000 double-inset burner and a SoftClose oven door for maximum user convenience. Several aesthetic enhancements also adorn the series including an attractive bullnose, sturdy black knobs and a wider black glass oven door window. The brand also showcased the largest expansion in the Portofino series with the newly available Portofino freestanding, full-size refrigerators – available in signature SMEG colors – as well as the debut of the Portofino induction ranges and stainless steel gas range tops, both available in 30- and 36-inch models. Another exciting product comes in the form of America's most famous cartoon character: the Mickey Mouse FAB28 Refrigerator. SMEG's whimsical partnership with Disney marries two icons of design and brings to life each brand's core values of bringing households together, whether through food or entertainment. The commemorative fridge features Mickey Mouse sketched nearly a century ago in his debut role as Steamboat Willie. Rounding out the new product portfolio was the market debut of the Linea Built-In Collection, featuring the multi-tasking Speed and Combi Steam Ovens, a Coffee System and Convection ovens in a new Mystic Gray Glass finish. "We're excited once again to exhibit a wide range of appliances at KBIS this year. Growth in brand popularity, dealer and designer support and consumer satisfaction are driving us to launch these innovations, each targeting a specific North American market niche," said Paul McCormack, SMEG USA's national sales and marketing director. He continued, "From a complete reengineering of our signature Classic ranges and the debut of a line of replacement dishwashers to the market launch of our reimagined Classic and Linea built-in appliances, we have more new offerings to show the industry than ever before."
