The whirlwind pace kicks into high gear with a
12-artist quick draw event on Friday afternoon.
Marty's Quick Draw participants will each have less
than an hour to whip up their latest piece, and all
12 works of art will be auctioned off immediately
thereafter.
Shortly after the Young Masters awards ceremony
that afternoon, it will be time for the Cowboy
Cocktails and Paint-A-Round festivities down at the
Heritage Inn pool. Artists Ben Miller, Tim Joyner, DG
House, Cheryl King, Lance Johnson, and Whitney
Wiedow will each begin with their own canvas.
"These artists were hand-selected because they love
interacting with people," Godwin notes.
Ten minutes into their creations, the artists will all have to
move to the canvas beside them to work on one of their
fellow artist's paintings for another ten minutes. They'll
continue to repeat this process for one hour, resulting in six
collaborative works at the end. Interested buyers will drop
their name into a bucket next to the canvas they like best,
