Several artists, including Don Lorang, Sherry Tuss, and Cheryl Keith, have had their work on display since the show's inception. As she nears the end of her third decade with the WHA, Tuss says she is still as excited as ever to be creating and displaying her pieces at Western Art Week. "I get that special feeling when I come upon a subject that I would like to challenge myself with next," she says. "I really enjoy Western Art Week because I love to interact with people about my art and its processes." Visitors to the WHA Footprints on the Trail show will find an eclectic, generally contemporary collection of artworks in a variety of genres, including photography, paper art, mixed media, earth art, wheat weavings, metalworks, woodcrafts, sculptures, stained glass, wood burning, leather, batiks and much more! Guests are invited to attend the Lobby Show and awards ceremony in the spacious seven-story atrium from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday. They'll also be treated to cake, refreshments, and a live musical performance by Jeni Dodd that evening.
