From the President | CM 2019 5 is year we saw additional state capitol ministries added. We either launched or are building ministries in Alaska, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, and Vermont. We were delighted that God raised up additional global directors. We have eight directors on six continents and in the South Pacific which greatly propelled overseas expansion efforts. We have added ministries in several African and Latin American nations and new ministry leaders have been trained to create discipleship Bible studies in Paris and Rome. We are excited by the growth and maturity of this ministry as we look ahead to 2020 and anticipate the new challenges that following God's leading will bring. Reaching leaders for Christ was the way the apostles "turned the world upside down" in the first century. With a mission to make dis- ciples of Jesus Christ in the political arena throughout the world, Capitol Ministries® is using that same game plan today. It is only through Christ that real change begins and lasts. When the hearts of leaders change, a nation will change. As William Penn once said, good hearts lead to good laws. To God be all the glory for the things He is doing through this, His ministry. In His service, Ralph and Danielle Drollinger "At a time when many are trying to minimize the influence of the Judeo-Christian foundation of our nation, the work of Capitol Ministries ® in spreading the good news is more important than ever. Having enough perspective to realize that people who disagree with you are not automatically your enemies and learning how to treat each other and the constituents of this nation with respect will go a long way toward healing our nation. The work of Capitol Ministries ® is interwoven into those goals." Dr. Benjamin S. Carson, Sr.
