Traub is an experienced global CEO and board advisor with an extensive background in consumer durables. Traub was formerly CEO of Serta Simmons Bedding and prior to that served as CEO of BSH Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group North America and Latin America. As a Director, Traub will help lead Plum into its new chapter of growth, bringing his decades of appliance industry and consumer experience, and positioning the company well for expansion. Because of his experience, he recognizes the need for market-leading traditional companies to adapt to digital disruption. Prior to SertaSimmons Bedding, Traub was President and CEO, North America for BSH Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group. He successfully positioned the brands Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau in the premium and luxury segments of the market. Traub drove profitable growth in all categories and developed excellent relationships with retailers, designers and builders. Under his leadership, Bosch became the market leader in dishwashing.
