Contained within the countertop are plenty of storage cabinets, a wine cooler, and a gas cooktop. A remote controlled ceiling hood is concealed above and provides different lighting moods. Custom European cabinetry features an integrated pocket door system that conceals the built-in workstation sink and high-end smart appliances when entertaining. Out of sight, out of mind! LED lights saturate the space and provide the perfect environment for hosting guests. Too many cabinets too close together encumbered movement and function. An awkward pony wall with columns divided the space, obscured the view and minimized family room space. The goal was to make the kitchen look great and function well. No square footage was added, but now the kitchen is spacious, function has been optimized, and there's a new focus on the view. The traditional style was maintained, but enhanced with modern, elegant touches, including a marble tile backsplash in a herringbone pattern, crown molding, clear glass pendant lighting, grey quartz countertops and white cabinetry.
