The entire interior was redefined with more open community areas for the family to congregate and entertain as well as with private sanctuaries to retreat to when individuals need personal space and privacy. The results were amazing and well worth it. The homeowners wanted to create an updated kitchen that would be the center of activity with an open flow to adjacent dining and sitting areas. The design would add a contemporary twist on traditional Prairie style elements while incorporating modern luxury appliances. The final result created a state-of-the-art kitchen—and adjoining entertainment spaces—that are perfect for intimate gatherings or dinner parties. The new interior surrounds the homeowners in modern refinements, dressed in signature Prairie style materials that honor Russell Barr Williamson's legacy and vision.
