Industrial Magnetics devises germ-free door opener, donates profits to local food pantries Industrial Magnetics Inc. (IMI), a magnet and magnetic separation supplier, has developed an assistive product to open doors commonly found in restrooms, shops, and office buildings using the sole of your shoe instead of your hands to help stop the spread of germs. All profits from the sale of this prod- uct will go to local food pantries near the company's headquarters in Boyne City, MI. The company's product, created in response to the coronavirus pandemic, can be used in various places where there are latchless doors. The company, which provides domes and stor- age tanks for dry bulk and liquid storage applications, has demon- strated its investments in the past year through a significantly increased service portfolio and parts inventory along with custom- er-focused educational training and an expanded team of experts. The company has more than 350,000 tanks and 19,000 covers around the world, so the company expects to further grow their service business in the coming years. The services can include access to CST's team of expert service representatives for timely maintenance, inspections, parts, repairs, upgrades, equipment installations, refurbishments, and other specialized services.
