Q: Do you still keep a calendar?
A: Not exactly. My calendar each day consists of Bonanza
from 1 – 2, Big Valley from 2 – 3, followed by e
Rifleman and Wagon Train, with a nap in between!
Q: Are there any other hobbies you enjoy that you are
excited to delve into?
A: My wife, Jill, and I plan to spend more time with
our three grandkids. We have twin three-year-old
grandkids who live in Birmingham and a one-year-
old grandson who lives here in Huntsville. We have a
golf cart – although I don't golf – that we use to drive
the kids around the neighborhood. ey love that!
I've also had a pool table for years, so I will be playing
more pool since I have retired. Not to brag – but I'm
pretty good! Jill and I plan to travel when things get
back to normal after COVID-19.
Q: What's the best personal advice you have received?
A: Always be respectful of others and count your many
blessings. I was always taught to be a "good guy" and get
along with everyone. As Patrick Swayze said in the movie
Roadhouse, "Be nice!"
