Some students begin their visits as early as the summer aer their sophomore year, and this can be a good time to learn about what types of campuses a student is interested in. Summer also gives students the opportunity to get the feel for the community and possibly find a few fun things to do as they consider college. Students and their families have the opportunity to get a tour from a current student or an admission counselor. ey also have the opportunity to meet with someone in Financial Aid and can request a visit with a faculty member or other person on campus. ese summer tours can be a laid back way to get know the campus. "As a Catholic College we take our responsibility to be good admission advisors seriously," Dr. Chato Hazelbaker the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing stated. He noted that touring schools and asking a lot of questions can help students narrow down things like what size colleges they want to consider, and what facilities will be important to them. "We try to make it easy to learn about college in general and being closer for most Montana students we can be a good launching off point. I always encourage students to tour a variety of schools so they can really see what fits." S By Chato Hazelbaker Students on campus find many ways to get outside. President Dr. John Cech and students enjoy coffee in the Carroll Union Building (the CUBE). Dr. Cech can often be found in the CUBE during the school year.
