The BICSI Outside Plant™ (OSP™) Designer is a globally recognized certification highly esteemed throughout the ICT industry. Those who hold this credential have passed a rigorous exam and must meet continuing education requirements to maintain it. A BICSI OSP Designer is uniquely qualified and knows the correct methods and approach to plan, develop, manage, and supervise outside plant projects safely and effectively. In fact, many organizations require the BICSI OSP credential for design and installation personnel on outside plant projects. Valued worldwide, BICSI credentials provide an unparalleled level of confidence and validity to the ICT industry and to consumers in the areas of design, installation, and project management. To ensure our credentials remain worthy of this merit, BICSI has an organized process in place to review credentialing best practices and career/industry relevance. "The path to acquiring my OSP credential has been more valuable than I ever would have anticipated. Not only did I learn better ways to approach familiar tasks, it exposed me to other installation methods and processes that I simply haven't encountered in my projects so far. The OSPDRM and BICSI OSP102 course are full of tremendously useful information. In fact, I reference the OSPDRM almost daily for insights into design and planning. With these experiences and tools, I can approach my OSP design projects with confidence in my knowledge and abilities. Prospective clients can see my credential at first interaction and know that I have quality training in OSP design. It reduces that initial uncertainty and allows us to get straight to work on their projects. From start to finish, BICSI presented a clear, attainable path to top-quality industry training at a fair price."
