Certificate & Degree Programs 2020-2021 This program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to perform work involving the maintenance or craft occupations on machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. The goal is to increase maintenance technician career opportunities for students with companies affiliated with the National Apartment Association. Program Notes: Students must earn a grade of C or better in the program. This program prepares students to take the Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT) exam. Program Prerequisites: Admission to program. PRODUCTION - CNC MACHINE OPERATOR CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY IN CNC MACHINE OPERATOR (150 CLOCK HOURS: CODE 1112N-DAY/1113N-NIGHT) Division: Trades & Technology Program Director: R. Mark Woehl The Certificate of Competency (CCT) in CNC Machine Operator prepares students for employment as entry-level operators and technicians in the manufacturing industry. The program provides applied skills in the operation of manual/computer numeric control (CNC) machines for current and future needs of the manufacturing industry. Certificates of completion in Machining I and Machining II and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Manufacturing and Production Technology are also available. Program Notes: This program is not eligible for Title IV Federal Financial Aid. Students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program. Program Prerequisites: None PRODUCTION - CNC MACHINE OPERATOR CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION IN CNC MACHINE OPERATOR (6 CREDITS; CODE 5103N) To qualify, students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program. Division: Industrial Technology Program Director: David Zamora The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in CNC Machine Operator prepares students for employment as entry level operators and technicians in the manufacturing industry. The program provides applied skills in the operation of manual/Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machines for current and future needs of the manufacturing industry. Certificates of Completion (CCLs) in CNC Machining I and CNC Machining II and an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Manufacturing Production Technology are also available. 125
