Certificate & Degree Programs 2020-2021 + MAT142 College Mathematics (3) OR Satisfactory completion of higher level math course 3-5 OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREE IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH TECHNOLOGY (63-75 CREDITS; CODE 3762) To qualify, students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program. Division: Industrial Technology Program Director: Michael Bryant The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Occupational Safety and Health Technology program is designed to provide students with multidisciplinary knowledge concerning well-known hazards and risks, and the elimination or reduction of work-related fatalities, injuries, and risk reduction. Students will develop skills used in supporting and monitoring of compliance in organizations regarding hazard and risk assessment, controls, and established procedures for their management. They will also fulfill the general education requirements for the Associate in Applied Science degree. A Certificate of Completion (CCL) is also available. Program Notes: Students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program. Program Prerequisites: None OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH TECHNOLOGY CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH TECHNOLOGY (37-40 CREDITS; CODE 5859) To qualify, students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program.
