2020 BICSI VIRTUAL FALL CONFERENCE
& EXHIBITION: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
While it is true that the 2020 BICSI Fall Conference & Exhibition
looked somewhat different than what was originally planned more
than a year ago, we are thrilled with the outcome. From the first
realization that an on-site event was not possible, BICSI staff
began brainstorming, investigating, and preparing for a new kind
of educational and networking experience. The event ran from
27 September – 1 October.
Our goal from the beginning was to provide attendees, exhibitors,
and Exhibit Hall visitors with a safe, effective, and convenient
alternative to our traditional in-person conference without sacrificing
the quality and diversity of content or the invaluable information
exchange and networking. Not only did we accomplish this,
we were also able to provide attendees with increased content
by extending access to all technical and keynote presentations,
plus exhibit booths, for 30 days after the conference ended. That
means no one had to miss a single presentation, even if they
ran concurrently.
Based on conference feedback, we can
confidently say the 2020 BICSI Virtual Fall
Conference & Exhibition was a huge success.
That said, we know none of this would have
been possible without the commitment of our
speakers, exhibitors, and our attendees,
and we are grateful.
