INSIGHTFUL THOUGHT LEADERS DELIVER MESSAGES OF CHANGE AND SELF-REFLECTION This conference hosted three keynote presenters, one more than at our past on-site events. Each one embraced the idea of change and looking at ourselves from within. The Opening Keynote Presentation was given by Jeff Butler, speaker, author, and workplace strategist. Jeff explained how technology is unraveling the ways our brains work and what that means for our future. He also explored the impacts of block chain technology and how artificial intelligence is on course to bring us some of the most challenging times in history. Ivo Nelson delivered the Mid-week Keynote in a very personal address about what it means to be a loved-based leader to create a culture of success. The author, entrepreneur, and thought leader provided 10 love-based principles to help create happy customers, energize employees, and enjoy rich revenue growth, while steering business toward love. Check out more from Ivo at ivo.com. Closing Keynote Speaker, Brett Culp, shared his love of filmmaking to document the positivity of the human experience. Through real-life stories and his own film clips, he revealed fresh insights on creating engagement and uncovering potential, even in times of uncertainty. Seeing change as an opportunity for innovation and impact is a way to invite everyone to collaborate, take ownership, and make a difference. GAMIFICATION REWARDS ATTENDEE INTERACTION Adding to the excitement of the virtual conference was a gamification aspect that encouraged attendee engagement and spurred friendly competition. Attendees earned points for viewing presentations, visiting exhibitor booths, viewing booth videos and documents, attending chat rooms, and more. Prizes were awarded to the top 20 scorers. First place received the winner's choice of a future BICSI Winter or Fall Conference & Exhibition, including round-trip airfare, a three-night hotel stay, and conference registration. "I think this has been a wonderful experience and my hat is off to all who obviously worked very hard to make it come together. I am particularly excited by the ability to watch the presentations for up to 30 days out. And I cannot say enough good about this morning's keynote by Ivo Nelson. I really wish his message would spread throughout the business world like wildfire." - Charles Reel, RCDD, Information Systems Security Engineer, Charleston, SC, USA FEATURE Page 5
