Andy Chudy Jr., the branch's assistant manager, said Angela knows both of his children from the school where she works, "and she loves them. She is just that kind of person. When the schools closed down due to COVID, she offered to take care of my kids anytime that I needed help.'' She saw a need and wanted to meet it! Angela works as a custodian at F. E. Burleson Elementary School and jokingly says if it weren't for the children, she might not show up for work: "It's like having a school full of grandbabies. What could be better than that?'' When those kids see her around town, they can't help but want to run over and give her a hug (pre-COVID, of course). She has been a Redstone member for about 20 years and doesn't want to miss any opportunity to tell others what they mean to her. "is year has really made me reflect on how I view my family and friends. I want to have a closer bond with them and, if not physically, stay close emotionally and spiritually. I just want them to know how much I love them and know that I'm here for them." It's clear that many people feel the same way about her! BUSINESS DE VELOPMENT OFFICERS: North AL T. Angela lives it in her everyday life: going to work, volunteering in the community, and in her routine interactions. e team at our Hartselle branch says her "cheerful soul'' shines through whenever she enters the branch. "Mrs. Jones speaks to all of us tellers. She has grown to know us, and she really cares about us,'' said Brittany Cortez, a teller at the branch. "Even if she has a bad day, you wouldn't know it because she is always so thankful and genuinely kind,'' Brittany says. r e d f c u.o r g | 15 M E M B E R S H I P Member's Moment : If you would like to appear in the Member's Moment column, just send your name and an interesting tidbit about yourself to aspire@redfcu.org.
