We may be partial, but we think our customers are pretty great! This year we want to highlight some of our customers for their positive impact on the animal health industry. This month we are highlighting integrity animal health group in Simpsonville, South Carolina.
When did your practice become a covetrus customer? We have been a covetrus customer longer than i have been with the practice, which is over 11 years. When i first assumed responsibility for the practice inventory, i was ordering primarily from butler, which then became henry schein, and the relationship has continued with covetrus!
What do you find most beneficial about your practice's partnership with covetrus? Our psivet membership obviously provides us with good pricing and solid rebate opportunities through covetrus, but the most important element for me has been the close relationships i have formed with key covetrus representatives. These folks have been more interested in what really benefits our practice as opposed to a great sell, and this makes all the difference!
What do you like about working in the veterinary industry? I really enjoy the daily interactions with people and their pets. Fur babies are such a great way to build relationships and talk with people about their lives, families, and interests. Also, the comradery within our veterinary clinic staff is close and valuable; we are a big family, and although our personalities and strengths are unique, we all get along very well.
What makes your practice unique? Our focus on relationship building, both within our team and among our client base, is very strong and truly sets us apart as a practice. We work hard to maintain an intimate family feel even though our practice and team are growing and developing rapidly. It has been a fun challenge through the years to find ways to retain our older clientele, while reaching out to new client opportunities. Over the last 2.5 years, increasing our standards of care with aaha accreditation and moving to a custom-built practice facility have kept our practice on a trajectory of steady growth.
