Evolving Information Communications
All technologies are born out of purpose, and as societies
become more sophisticated, so do our needs and expectations
for information and communications technology (ICT). Innovations
in 5G data networks, artificial intelligence, smart cities, wireless and
distributed antenna systems, and even space exploration and
communication, continue to advance, becoming increasingly
complex. BICSI remains committed to providing the ICT profession
with the educational resources required to stay in the forefront
of this perpetual evolution.
Setting the Stage for Success
The year 2020 began differently than most. BICSI welcomed a new Executive
Director & Chief Executive Officer, John H. Daniels, CNM, FACHE, FHIMSS,
on 1 January. With extensive experience in association management and
global practices, John helped set the 2020 stage for growth and opportunity at BICSI. Little did
we know what the year had in store—but the challenges 2020 presented pushed us to think
creatively in a suddenly changed world—and BICSI prevailed.
