The facility is expected to have a capacity of 1,500 metric tons (1,653 tons) annually in the first phase of the facility's operation. The operation follows the com- pany's vertical integration model and effort to be part of the mine- to-market battery material value chain for electric vehicles (EVs). The graphite product can also be used in other fuel cells and 5G heat dissipation foils. The company has also secured land for an expansion next to the current operation at the Bécan- cour industrial park. The location has rail, port, and road access for both importing raw materials and exporting final products throughout North America and Europe.
