We started as a client with
Covetrus in early 2014.
What do you
find most
beneficial about
your practice's
partnership with
Covetrus?
I love that Covetrus can be a one-
stop-shop. If I need medical supplies,
I can get them through Covetrus.
Our online pharmacy and practice
management software is all through
Covetrus. The integration with the
various software platforms makes
everything run seamlessly to help
ensure efficiency, so my efforts can be
focused on making sure that the hospital
continues to run as smoothly as possible.
The customer service I get from not only
my Account Manager but my Customer
Engagement Representative as well
has been invaluable. If I ever have any
trouble with anything, I know I can
always count on the support to help me
resolve any issues I have.
What do you like
about working
in the veterinary
industry?
I love the veterinary industry because
it is always something different. There
are routine day-to-day appointments,
but there are also interesting cases that
keep the job ever-changing. We also
get to help people live healthier, happier
lives by ensuring that their pets live long
and healthy lives as well. As veterinary
professionals, we get to be a voice for
the voiceless and an advocate for better
pet health. Being able to help strengthen
the human-animal bond makes the more
difficult days a little easier to bear.
What makes your
practice unique?
We are a smaller practice, but we
don't let our size slow us down. We do
everything we can to practice and offer
the best and most current medicine to
our patients. At the same time, we do
everything we can to build relationships
with the pet owners as our clients. We
get to know them on a more personal
level. While our patients may be the
main reason we are here, our clients are
just as important to us. Not only do we
want our vet visits to be happy and non-
stressful for the patients, we try to do the
same thing for our owners. Vet visits can
put just as much stress on owners as it
does on the pets.
We may be partial, but we think our customers are pretty great! This year we want to highlight some
of our customers for their positive impact on the animal health industry. This month we are highlighting
Chimney Hills Animal Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
