Amtrak's Empire Builder Line offers direct connections to and from Chicago, St. Paul, Spokane, Portland, and Seattle. With 20 buses, the Great Falls Transit District operates seven regular routes, as well as a paratransit service for disabled people. Buses run 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays, and 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays. Route maps and schedules are available at the Transfer Center, 326 1st Ave S, on buses, at numerous businesses, and online at Fares are $1, adults; 75 cents, students; 50 cents, disabled people with cards and those 60 or older; and free for children 5 and younger. Unlimited rides monthly passes are $30, adults; $25, students; $21, disabled people with cards and those over 60.
