86 Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce www.greatfallschamber.org January MAGIE - Montana Agricultural and Industrial Exhibit More than 200 exhibitors showcase the latest in farming technology, guidance systems, implements, and livestock handling equipment at the annual MAGIE at Four Seasons. Pro Rodeo Finals Ride, rope, and wrangle for the top prize in seven categories: bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding at Four Seasons Arena. During the three-day event, a new Miss Rodeo Montana will be crowned. She serves as an ambassador for the sport. Events also include a kiddie rodeo and a cowboy auction. February Wine and Food Festival The event at the Heritage Inn features more than 40 booths with food, wine, beer, and other beverages including 150-plus wines to sample from around the globe. Found on Distinctly Montana: This event provides an evening of sampling food, fine wine, and beer from Montana and surrounding areas. It features over 100 wines, beers, and other beverages to sample in a complimentary wine glass. Tasting begins at 6 p.m. and dancing is from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. Must be 21 years of age to attend. March Home and Garden Show A harbinger of spring in Great Falls, the Home Builders Association presents the Home and Garden Show and Sale at the Four Seasons Arena and Exhibition Hall. More than 200 exhibitors make it easy for homeowners to compare products, discover what is new, and find the help they need. Be sure to check out the show this year on March 26-28, 2021. Western Art Week **At the time of printing, current local COVID-19 restriction have left the planning for the 2021 event difficult. Updates will be provided as known details happen at westernartweek.com.** Western art has been king every March for more than four decades during Western Art Week. As one of the liveliest times in Great Falls, the week includes events throughout town appealing to savants and casual art lovers, alike, catering to a variety of tastes. Shows include: The Great Western Living and Design Exhibition, Jay Contway and Friends Art Show, March in Montana, Missouri Falls Fine Arts Show and Sale, Out West Art Show at Heritage Inn, The Western Heritage Artists' Footprints on the Trail, and The Wild Bunch Art Show. Select events host live music, drinks, and exhilarating auctions. Great Falls Custom Car Show For more than 20 years, the Montana ExpoPark has been home to the annual Great Falls Custom Car Show. A variety of hot rods, customs, classics, racecars, motorcycles, and boats are displayed and commercial vendors are on hand. April Belle's and Lace Bridal Walk This bridal event is hosted downtown where stores and vendors are open to all those planning a wedding. Drawings, prizes, and fun are held all day at various locations along Central Ave. Belle's and Lace Bridal hosts a fashion show and Mighty Mo Brew co-hosts the "Groom Room." Ice Breaker Road Race Some of the best runners in the state and beyond line up for the 5-mile road race with cash prizes at stake. The 3-mile run offers both a competitive and recreational format and the 1-mile fun- run challenges participants of all ages. Each registered participant receives an Ice Breaker long sleeved T-shirt, lunch, and a unique finisher medal. More than 3,400 people participate each year. Sunday Sampler Can you visit 10 museums in one day? Every April, the Great Falls Museum Consortium invites you to experience Montana's Museum Capital and explore the best of Great Falls' Art basecamp. Sunday Sampler provides free admission to every museum in Great Falls for the day. With a museum for every interest, you can tailor your day to your family's interests. The participating museums include the CM Russell Museum, the Children's Museum of Montana, First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park, Galerie Trinitas, The History Museum, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, Montana Museum of Railroad History, Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, Malmstrom AFB Museum, and the Ursuline Centre. Enjoy Great Falls' unique culture and history. The museums represented in the Consortium represent an adventurous, independent, and energetic aspect of the spirit that runs through the culture of Great Falls, Montana.
