Hunter also makes a variety of other rings, pendants, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, many of which incorporate stones such as bumblebee jasper, traditional turquoise, or white buffalo turquoise. Because she makes everything by hand, each piece is completely unique. "I am adamant on making U.S.A products sourced from U.S.A. materials and stones," she adds. "Even my equipment is made in the U.S.A." Hunter's silver and copper creations are so stylistically flexible, they can serve as stunning accents for a bride one day, and perfectly compliment a jeans-and-t-shirt ensemble the next. "It still blows my mind sometimes that people are wearing something I made," Hunter says. "It is really, really rewarding when you see that your hard work and time spent designing has paid off and now someone has a piece they love that that they will wear every day or have for years and pass on." She also loves the creative freedom silversmithing has given her. SHOW & TELL Hunter's copper crescent moons. Ideas take shape in Hunter's home studio near Belt. SiG MT 36
