The guild was founded in 1997 when Bill and Barb Chigbrow purchased a residence at 706 7th Avenue South and converted it into an artists' club. Twenty-three years later, the nonprofit organization boasts over 50 members and offers a wide variety of opportunities to fellow artists, including mentoring, classes, studio privileges, and scholarship programs for high school students. S "We're an eclectic group," show coordinator Steve Tilleraas says proudly. "We have very nice, affordable art." Many of the Studio 706 artists have honed their creative skills while simultaneously holding down other jobs, Steve notes. "This show gives everybody a chance to display their art, to include the practicing and hobby artists," he explains. You're sure to go home with something you love. "We have everything from painting – whether it is acrylic, oil, watercolors – and then we have jewelry, ceramic, artwork, wood carving, stained glass, you name it," Steve says. The Studio 706 Artist Guild Show & Sale is located at the Montana ExpoPark for this Special Edition Western Art Week event. www.studio706artistguild.com Montana ExpoPark 400 3rd Street NW Steve Tilleraas Steve Tilleraas AUGUST 19-22 • 2021 Thurs - Sat 10am to 8pm Sun 10am to 3pm This Ad Sponsored by Tilleraas Nursery
