their daily lives in their natural habitats. Nancy's
snapshot-like, emotional renderings are inspired by
her personal work as a zookeeper, as well as her
travels and research in locations such as Yellowstone
National Park.
Visitors will be blown away by the lifelike wildfowl
carvings of Carmen Luna, a Malta-based artist whose
creations are so textured and expertly detailed, you
expect them to fly away at any moment. Carmen
creates natural elements consistent with her subjects'
natural environments – such as an old, lichen
covered fence post or perfectly replicated cattails –
to propel her carved illusions ever further towards the
brink of reality.
