That's when Cathryn jumps in with her palette and brushes, creating exquisite wildlife and landscape scenes, many of which focus on the land and people of the northeast Montana plains. Antique maps, fabrics, and old ceiling tiles are also among the variety of upcycled surfaces Cathryn has used to create her artwork. Visitors will also have an opportunity to view the magnificent work of Dawn Sievers, who paints captivating western wildlife and landscapes on silk using an ancient Asian dying process. "I believe people will come just to gather and remember, and then they will look around and see what's new," Lynn explains. "I think we will have an upbeat show even though Jay is not with us. He is a cherished memory." In addition to viewing Contway's work, visitors to the show will have an opportunity to record video tributes to share their memories and stories about him.
