Farewell to
Growing up on the plains of Eastern Montana isn't for the faint
of heart. It takes grit, determination, and a love of the land to truly
flourish in the stunningly beautiful but oen unforgiving conditions
of the prairie. Sprinkle in a bit of Native American, English, and Irish
lineage, a knack for roping, and a God-given talent for Western art, and
you can begin to understand the formative clay that would one day
become the "Storyteller in Bronze" we know as Jay Joseph Contway.
Jay's masterful eye for
detail set him apart.
