ee R. Jackson Track and Field Complex was
once again the host site for the Mid-Amer-
ican Conference Outdoor Track and
Field Championships in May. It was the sec-
ond time The University of Akron has hosted the
league's outdoor meet since 2009 and the third
time overall.
>> After trailing by 10 points after the first
day, the Zips men's team stormed ahead
the following day and never looked back
to capture their third consecutive
MAC Outdoor Championship.
>> It was a coming out party for the women's
team as well as the Zips finished runner-up
in the team standings, representing a fiveposition improvement from the
previous season.
