David Farabee and Michael Valverde have been appointed to service on the TCCU Board. Mr. Farabee is replacing Steve Bryan and Mr. Valverde is replacing Dik Pitman. Mr. Pitman has served on the Texoma Community Credit Union Board since 2000. Mr. Bryan joined in 1997. TCCU thanks them for their dedicated service. At its 60th annual meeting TCCU members re-elected Marilyn Darnall and Bill Willis to serve on the board. Mrs. Darnall has served since 1989 and Mr. Willis joined the board in 1991. TCCU also announces Mrs. Lacey Morgan's acceptance to serve on the board-appointed Advisory Committee. David Farabee is Vice President and Partner of Boley-Featherston-Huffman & Deal Insurance Services, Inc. in Wichita Falls. He has earned the professional designations of LUTCF and Chartered Life Underwriter. In 2011 David completed his sixth term in the Texas Legislature. Mr. Farabee was named "Texoma's Best" three times by the readers of the Times Record News because of his commitment to constituent service while serving in the Texas Legislature. He has served numerous community organizations including Chairman of the Small Business Council for the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of Friends of Hospice Wichita Falls, Chairman of Child Care Incorporated of Wichita Falls and Chairman of the Board of the Helen Farabee Regional Mental Health and Mental Retardation Centers. Mr. Farabee previously served on the TCCU Advisory Committee. Michael Valverde joins the Texoma Community Credit Union Board of Directors after prior service on the TCCU Advisory Committee. Mr. Valverde is the Sole Practitioner at the Law Office of Michael A. Valverde. Prior to owning his own law practice in 1994, Mr. Valverde served as the Wichita County Assistant District Attorney. He also serves on the corporate board of the Boys and Girls Club and the board of the Y.M.C.A. Lacey Morgan is the Corporate Marketing Director for HelpSource, Inc. She oversees and directs the Sales & Marketing staff and marketing activities for each of 6 subsidiary companies. She is an experienced speaker and has presented for a variety of conferences and organizations on both the state and national levels. Mrs. Morgan currently serves as an officer on the board of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Home Care Association of America. She has served as a marketing director for over 8 years, as well as having worked in marketing roles within other industries.
