Program Prerequisites: None CONSTRUCTION TRADES: ELECTRICAL, COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY IN CONSTRUCTION TRADES: ELECTRICAL, COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL (630 CLOCK HOURS; CODE 1114-DAY/1115–NIGHT) Division: Trades & Technology - Construction Trades Program Manager: R. Mark Woehl The Certificate of Competency (CCT) in Construction Trades: Electrical Commercial and Residential program is designed to provide knowledge, safety, and skills in the electrical construction trade. This program reinforces common construction skills to include use of tools, adherence to safety and codes, and reading construction drawings. This award offers further theory and practice in commercial and specialty electrical, to include work with electric power distribution, motors and motor controls, specialty electrical lighting and services, and electrical currents. Students can seek employment as electrical technicians on residential and commercial job sites. A Certificate of Completion (CCL) and an Associate in Applied Science in Construction Trades are also available. Program Notes: Students must earn a grade of C or better for all courses required within the program. Program Prerequisites: None CONSTRUCTION TRADES: ELECTRICITY ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREE IN CONSTRUCTION TRADES: ELECTRICITY (60-88 CREDITS; CODE 3428) To qualify, students must earn a grade of C or better in all required courses. Department for Construction Trades: Business and Industry Apprenticeship Manager: Jessica Brosilo The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Construction Trades: Electricity degree is designed to provide apprentices and journeymen with a broadened educational background and leadership skills so that students completing the associate degree program may be better equipped to enter supervisory and managerial positions. Program Notes: Students must earn a grade of C or better for all courses required within the program. Admission Criteria: Students are admitted to this program through: Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor selection process recorded in their apprenticeship standards filed with the State Apprenticeship Office. Program Prerequisites: None CONSTRUCTION TRADES: ELECTRICITY CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION IN CONSTRUCTION TRADES: ELECTRICITY (30-60 CREDITS; CODE 5428) To qualify, students must earn a grade of C or better in all required courses.
