93 AIR CONDITIONING - HVAC COMMERCIAL INSTALLATION AND SERVICE TECHNICIAN ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE IN HVAC COMMERCIAL INSTALLATION AND SERVICE TECHNICIAN (45.5-51.5 CREDIT; CODE 5242) To qualify, students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program. Division: Industrial Technology Program Director: Jason Cooper The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in HVAC Commercial Installation and Service Technician is designed to provide entry-level training in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and ref rigeration (HVAC/R) systems, electricity, electronic controls and instrumentation, hydronics, electro-mechanical devices, and general repair. Students will have the opportunity to learn skills necessary to assess and solve problems quickly, based upon an understanding of regulatory guidelines. An Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Air Conditioning/Ref rigeration/Facilities is also available. Program Notes: Students must earn a grade of C or better for all courses within the program. OSH105AA and OSH106AA must be completed in the in-person format. Program Prerequisite: None AIR CONDITIONING - HVAC RESIDENTIAL INSTALLATION AND SERVICE TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY IN HVAC RESIDENTIAL INSTALLATION AND SERVICE TECHNICIAN (667 CLOCK HOURS; CODE 1108-DAY/1109-NIGHT) Division: Trades & Technology Program Manager: R. Mark Woehl The Certificate of Competency (CCT) in HVAC Residential Installation and Service Technician is designed to provide entry-level training in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and ref rigeration (HVAC) systems, electricity, electronic controls and general repair. Students will have the opportunity to learn skills necessary to assess and solve problems quickly. A Certificate of Completion in Commercial Air Conditioning/Ref rigeration/Facilities and an AAS in Air Conditioning/ Ref rigeration/Facilities are also available.
