SMEG EXPANDS AT-HOME BREWING COLLECTION WITH LAUNCH OF FULLY- AUTOMATIC COFFEE MACHINE AND MINI ELECTRIC KETTLE Introducing functional, compact appliances for coffee and tea enthusiasts alike Leading kitchen appliance manufacturer SMEG, known for its Italian heritage, signature style, and superior technology, is excited to announce the expansion of its beverage appliance lineup with the launches of a Fully-Automatic Coffee Machine, and a Mini Electric Kettle. At a time when consumers continue to invest in their households and work remotely, these high-design, compact appliances allow customers to brew delicious coffee and tea beverages from the comfort of their homes with café quality. Each product, distinct in its design and aesthetics, brings a sense of style to any countertop. During the COVID-19 pandemic, SMEG's existing coffee lineup – which includes an Espresso Machine, Drip Filter Coffee Machine, Grinder, Milk Frother, and Kettle – saw sales boom. Leaning into and innovating on this demand, SMEG is excited to expand this offering to meet the ever-evolving needs of their customers. FULLY-AUTOMATIC COFFEE MACHINE SMEG understands that coffee is a sensory experience from bean to cup, and with the launch of the new Fully-Automatic Coffee Machine, customers can effortlessly brew their favorite café-inspired drinks at home. With clean lines across SMEG's signature retro curves, a compact size and modern colorways, the Fully-Automatic Coffee Machine comes complete with a stainless steel burr grinder and thermoblock heating system with 19-bar pressure. The Fully- Automatic Coffee Machine can brew a number of hot beverages, ranging from a tea infusion to an extra-strong ristretto. The device comes in Basic and Medium models, with the Medium version complete with a Steam Wand attachment for milk frothing, perfect for lattes, cappuccinos and more. Both versions range from $799.95-$899.95, with available colorways including Matte Black, White, Taupe and Red. MINI ELECTRIC KETTLE SMEG's Electric Kettle is a beloved and widely recognized product in the brand's roster, and the mini version offers the same unmistakable '50s design in a compact size, perfect for any environment, especially when space is limited. Features include an anti-slip 360° base, a double-wall structure with a stainless steel lining, an internal water level indicator, and an anti-drip spout. With 1,400 watts of power, and a capacity of 0.8 liters, the Mini Kettle minimizes water waste while moderating energy consumption, and is ideal for preparing up to three cups at a time. Compared to SMEG's standard Electric Kettle, the Mini Kettle stands nearly 2 inches shorter and 2 lbs. lighter, perfect for small-space living and easy storing. The kettle features a chrome base and stainless steel spout and controls, with a "pop" soul reflected in a variety of available colorways including White, Black, Cream, Pastel Blue, Pastel Green, Pink and Red. The Mini Kettle is currently available on Williams Sonoma, and retails for $134.95. I N D U S T R Y [ N E W S ]
