Many of us yearned for the cre- ative boost that in-person confer- ences have historically provided, but it's undeniable that the pan- demic forced us to explore new ways of interacting and innovating, and it seems sensible to retain the best of these. Doing so will also allow RDD 2022 delegates who are not yet ready, willing or able to travel to the United States to participate in one of the world's premier, international gatherings focused exclusively on pulmonary and nasal drug delivery. During RDD 2021, lively, real- time, Zoom "Explore with Experts" discussion sessions attracted a large number of del- egates, and clearly showed the hunger to keep pace with sci- entific, commercial and regula- tory developments.
