Two of Redstone's Guiding Principles are to "Be the go- to provider for high quality financial products and services," and to "Be the catalyst for positive change in our communities." Despite the unprecedented times we are living in, Redstone has refused to stray from those principles. Instead, we cling to them and stay true to our mission of improving the financial well-being of our members and communities by offering trusted advice, choices, opportunities, and solutions. Last year, we ranked best in class for conventional mortgage loans and automobile loans. Seeing those results tells me we are following that guiding principle, and our employees are going above and beyond to serve our members. People see that we have high quality products and services, and ultimately take advantage of what their Credit Union has to offer. Many years ago, I was talking with a gentleman who is a Holocaust survivor. He asked me if I knew ONE thing that could solve all the world's problems; I did not. I thought his answer was brilliant. In his opinion, the one thing is: education. In this Aspire issue, we focus on the many ways Redstone supports education – whether general education or financial education. is support translates into positive change in the communities we serve. Our support takes many forms: college scholarships, community financial empowerment classes, financial support for non-profits that promote educational success, and many others. We just held ribbon-cutting ceremonies for new student-run branches at Hazel Green High School and at James Clemens High School. Students who work in our school branches receive practical guidance in the financial industry as well as enhanced financial literacy. Plus, it provides life-changing experiences! We provide these community-oriented services, support, and education because they make our communities better places to live. We welcome 2022 and look forward to all the ways we can serve as your go-to provider of financial services this year. p. 7 | Online Banking Upgrades p. 10 | College Application Success Tips p. 12 | Meet the Sandifer Brothers Send your comment s, suggestions or questions to: ASPIRE@REDFCU.ORG facebook.com/RedstoneFCU twitter.com/RedstoneFCU Editor: Patricia Dedrick Lloyd TABLE OF CONTENTS 2 | r e d f c u.o r g Must be eligible for membership and open a share savings account to obtain any product or service.
