She realized the extent of her passion following an art history study trip to Europe that opened her eyes to all the possibilities fine art had to offer. Stevenson credits her grandfather for the Western spirit of her work. "He was a memorable character, a tall tale-telling, locally famous bronc-riding cowboy, who took kids to hot, dusty rodeos and brandings," states Stevenson. ose memories COVER ARTIST Regal Bovine 24" X 18" Pastel on Sanded Paper Photo of the Brahma: This Brahma is credited as the inspiration for Trish Stevenson's "Regal Bovine." le a strong impression on the young artist and still influence her artwork today.
