An article in the U.S. by Eat This, Not That! titled "One Major
Effect of Eating Almonds, Says New Study" resulted in close
to 2.5 million impressions alone.
Diabetes
ABC's recent study on diabetes warranted strong outreach
in India as this was the first ABC study in that market which
looked at diabetes-related endpoints in a younger population.
This was particularly important due to diabetes being a top
health concern in this market. Due to the importance of the
research, along with traditional outreach activities, ABC's
India marketing team held a virtual press conference in July
2021 which included the lead researcher and ABC's Dr. Swati
Kalgaonkar. Other markets timed outreach to coincide with
Diabetes Awareness Month/World Diabetes Day in November
to optimize coverage. India also took advantage of World
Diabetes Day to initiate a second wave of outreach.
