The gymnasium at Prairie View
Community Center provides an
opportunity to exercise and promote
mental well-being while allowing
participants to maintain safe physical
distance among individuals. We are
committed to safety and have a plan
in place that allows adult patrons to
play Pickleball with as lit-tle contact as
possible.

LENGTH: One hour

ADULT BEGINNER PICKLEBALL
Ages 18 and up
This class is for those who have never played pickleball before or who have very
limited experience with the sport. It will focus on pickleball basics such as forehand
and backhand shots, serving, and court positioning. Players will also learn scoring
and the rules of the game through drills and playing time. The slower pace of this
class will give players the opportunity to develop the skills needed to play this fun
and energetic game. All equipment will be provided. Participants are also welcome to
bring their own equipment.

ADULT KARATE Ages 15 and up
Our adult classes release tension, develop total body fi tness and build stamina and
overall productivity! In addition to self-defense skills, karate increases fl exibility,
cardiovascular endurance, and muscle tone, while improving core strength.
