Q: Any financial advice for other teens? A: I didn't have a bank account before I joined Redstone. My advice is to open an account as soon as you can and start saving. I put in my babysitting money, and it really adds up. Q: How did it feel when your time as a Redstone student teller ended? Recent Blackman High School graduate Ella Albert said it took working at Redstone Federal Credit Union to fully know what career she wanted to pursue. Ella worked at Redstone's high school branch while at Blackman, in Murfreesboro, and then over the summer she worked at the Medical Center Parkway branch in various departments. "I had no idea what I wanted to do. But after working at the branch, I really enjoyed Business Development and Community Relations," she said. "I now plan to major in Business Administration at UT Chattanooga." Her experiences in the Youth Leadership Rutherford Class of 2022 further confirmed her career choice. Youth Leadership Rutherford is a personal development program for high school seniors that is designed to enhance their leadership skills, while also promoting community awareness and civic engagement. "It has taught me personal and professional development. It lets you network with other students and professionals too. I'm really happy that I did it," she said of the leadership program.
