PRODUCT NEWS BATTERY-POWERED GREASE GUN Alemite's new 18-volt, lithium-ion grease gun is designed to improve productivity and reduce downtime. The Model 595 grease gun provides a flow rate of 6 ounces per minute and a maximum pressure of 8,000 psi while delivering up to 27 grease cartridges on a single battery charge. To reduce operator fatigue, the grease gun's motor is located in the handle for optimal balance, and its battery weighs 40 percent less than a comparable nickel-cadmium battery. Operators can also charge the battery anytime without capacity loss. Built to provide maximum productivity and safety, the drum handler features a floor travel speed of 3 mph and a drum-lifting speed of 25 feet per minute. It can handle drum weights of up to 1,500 pounds and dumping heights of up to 10.5 feet. The drum-holding system adjusts from 22- to 23.5-inch diameters, with options available for smaller drums as well as plastic or fiber drums. Morse Manufacturing www.morsedrum.com 315-437-8475 The icountBSplus bottle sampling system uses laser particle-counting technology for detection of contamination in hydraulic oils and hydrocarbon fuels. The system can be used for laboratory or portable contamination testing in a variety of industry sectors including oil and gas, aerospace, agriculture, and construction. A frontloading sample bottle chamber provides a controlled environment where each sample is degassed using suppressed, clean air prior to delivery to the measurement cell. A relative humidity moisture sensor is included to detect water content, while an additional sensor offers temperature monitoring.
