RETAILOBSERVER.COM NOVEMBER 2022 62 U nited Appliance Servicers Association is excited and diligently planning 2023 Annual Service Training Institute (ASTI) which will take place in San Antonio, TX, February 1-5th, 2023 at the gorgeous Marriott Rivercenter. ASTI offers Independent Servicers business classes to help grow their business and become more efficient and profitable as well as numerous classes giving them the opportunity to learn the latest techniques to repair ever-evolving high-tech appliances. In addition to training, another benefit to attending the ASTI is the networking opportunities and the chance to connect with various people in the industry such as peers, manufacturers, and suppliers. Attendees report that each year they leave the convention feeling confident and armed with the knowledge to run a more effective and productive business. Trade Associations such as United Appliance Servicers Association (UASA) were created to fill the need for training as manufacturers continue to cut their budgets, their OEM factory training opportunities are cut as well. ASTI is the leading training event in the appliance service industry with technical and business training offered by manufacturers and industry leaders.
