When Angie Bruskoer's family was looking for a retail opportunity in Great Falls, she had one requirement, that it be fun. She'll be the first to tell you that fun is just what she has had for the last 22 years. "I'm just a marshmallow at heart," says Angie. Her friendly employees are eager to help customers select from beautifully decorated and decadent chocolate creams, chewy saltwater taffy, and buery fudge; all made at the shop by Angie and her staff. She treasures her six staff members and values their opinions. Every year she issues a challenge for each employee to come up with one or two new flavors, then they work together as a team to find what works and what people enjoy. "I love the vibe in here," says Angie. "It makes people happy." Angie Bruskotter's love of making candy comes from her fond memories of making almond toffee crunch with her mother. Her customers' happiness is just as important. She has fond memories of her candy liing spirits and bringing joy to customers, and the customers, in turn, reward her with loyal business. "I've had people coming since we opened, and their kiddos are married now," she says. "It's a walk down memory lane every day." Candy Masterpiece Confectionery Choose from over 150 flavors of fudge, from turtle cheesecake to cookies and cream. Angie Bruskotter is constantly amazed at how much candy she and her staff can make in what she calls her "tiny shop." Aisles are packed with jars of dried fruits, baskets of suckers, and bags of malt balls. Snappers are made by dipping big squares of crisped rice treats in caramel and chocolate.
