It was here where Rossberg began selling used motorcycles and parts while also servicing bikes for customers. "People loved geing old pieces off of bikes and keeping their stuff alive," he said. Helping customers recycle old parts was a key part of Rossberg's business, but with time comes change. With companies like eBay and Craigslist interrupting traditional sales for used parts, Rossberg quickly noted that a change in strategy was necessary to keep his business alive. Around ten years ago, Rossberg's shop began transitioning out of selling used parts and bikes, warranting the name change that stands today—Savage Motosports. A franchise reseller of CFMoto in central Montana since 2007, Rossberg watched companies like this change Savage Motosports. "ey made it easy to get out of used parts and just sell new bikes," he said. Rossberg's shop has also become an SSR and Kayo dealer, bringing mini-bikes and children's ATVs to Great Falls and the surrounding area. As CFMoto expanded with larger lines of ATVs and side-by-sides and an additional line of road and street bikes, the old location became cramped for space. With most of their inventory packed away in crates in a back storeroom, Rossberg noted a demand for a larger building to showcase more off-road vehicles. New signage adorns the entryway of Savage Motosports, now located at 4910 10th Avenue South in Great Falls. Savage Motosports carries a lineup of dirt bikes for all ages and abilities. With the new location providing 15,500 square feet, Rossberg now has room to display his collection of vintage motorcycles. Savage Motosports carries a full lineup of CFMoto ATVs and is the only dealer in Montana. The new showroom displays an expanded line of safety gear, including helmets, gloves, boots, jackets, leathers, and additional gear for the whole family.
